Dream Diary encompasses an ongoing project best described as free associative poetry. This book includes a number of brief vignettes which describe the author’s dreams and anxieties, as well as a longer, surreal story: A young woman has a dream about taking a train out to the countryside with her oblivious ex-boyfriend and his skeptical new girlfriend. They are drawn into a bitter fight, with no possible resolution.
