It tells the story of a small town fire crew battling to save a homestead from a raging bushfire. Based on a true incident in the writer’s experience.
This 8 page story was commissioned for the Australia Burns anthology at the very beginning of the campaign and was one of the first completed. It did not see print and is only available as an attached file when purchasing the digital version of Australia Burns.
