Skin Deep is a story of a world filled with humanoid Animals known as Fae. Due to the animal instincts and features, Fae have overtaken humans in society and employment. Humans are often lookdown on for being useless.
Trini and Mia have disguised themselves as Fae to try make it in this world. Trini works in the police department and Mia as a housekeeper. Trini is struggling to keep up with the demands of her job and without Fae features she is worried she will be overtaken or discovered. With Mia’s help, Trini has been able to stage crime and frame additional suspects, this has allowed her to rise through the ranks in the police academy. As Trini’s reputation grows additional people are starting to pay attention to her. How long can Trini and Mia continue their current lifestyle?
